Digimon packs are structurally simple — a fixed card count with foil slots on top — and rarely simple to price, because the top of the ladder moves fast. What Bandai has never released is a per-rarity probability, so the numbers below are community tallies and figures derived from them.
The Ultimate Rare tier deserves its own warning: it appears only in some sets and its rate is provisional. We show it because leaving it out would be its own kind of dishonesty, and we flag it because a provisional rate is not a rate you should plan a purchase around. The same registry drives our Digimon Pack Lab.
What a pack contains, and what it costs
Structure first, because structure is the part with a source. Everything in this table is either printed on the product or counted by us from the August 25, 2026 snapshot.
| What | Figure | Provenance |
|---|---|---|
| Cards per pack | 12 | official structure |
| Packs per booster box | 24 | retailer-listed |
| Boxes per case | 12 | retailer-listed |
| Foil / hit slots per pack | 2 | official structure |
| Cheapest sealed booster box we hold a price for | Hackers' Slumber — $46.55 | counted by InkSight |
| Cost per pack at that box price | $1.94 | counted by InkSight |
On the August 25, 2026 snapshot the cheapest sealed booster box we hold a confident price for is Hackers' Slumber at $46.55 — $1.94 a pack across 24 packs, 288 cards to the box. That division is honest. Multiplying it against the expectation table below is not a valuation: expected value needs a price for every possible card, and the tiers with no published rate are missing from the arithmetic by design.
That listing is the only guaranteed number in this section: a real SKU at a real snapshot price. What comes out of it is the probabilistic part, and that starts with the tier everybody is actually asking about.
Slot by slot
Digimon has kept one pack structure, so there is a single slot table. The Ultimate Rare variant of the hit slot is shown separately where the config declares one.
Basis: Bandai publishes no Digimon Card Game pull rates. Pack STRUCTURE (12 cards, 24 packs per box, 12 boxes per case, exactly two foils in slots 11-12) is official from world.digimoncard.com product pages. Every RATE is a community aggregate: DigimonCardGame wiki box/case mappings (2021-2026), DigimonMeta carton data, cross-validated against Neokyo carton reports. Simulated for entertainment.

The Digimon Card Game has no "god pack". Pack Lab never simulates one.
Every English booster box ships a box-topper promo pack. Its contents are not simulated.
Read those tables as two separate claims. The frequency of a slot is one thing; what can appear inside it is another, and the provenance chip tells you which of the two somebody actually published.
Per box and per case
The question behind every pull-rate search is really "what should a box give me". Here is that arithmetic, done on the rates above and labelled for what it is.
| Tier | Per pack | Per box (24 packs) | Per case (12 boxes) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | 7.00 | 168 | 2,016 |
| Uncommon | 3.00 | 72.0 | 864 |
| Rare | 1.62 | 38.9 | 467 |
| Super Rare | 0.270 | 6.48 | 77.8 |
| Alternative Art | 0.083 | 1.99 | 23.9 |
| Secret Rare | 0.021 | 0.504 | 6.05 |
| Special Rare (SP) | 1 per 286 | 0.084 | 1.01 |
Derived by InkSight: these are the rates above multiplied out, nothing more. They are averages over many boxes, not contents of your box — no publisher here seeds a box to hit an average, and a slot that averages 0.4 per box is absent from most boxes.
Averages hide the shape of a box. Most of what you open is the middle of the ladder, and the middle of the ladder is where a deck actually comes from.
What each tier is worth — which is not how often it appears
Rates tell you frequency. Prices tell you worth. Keeping them apart is the whole discipline: a tier can be common and expensive, or scarce and cheap, and only one of those two numbers is published by anyone.
What nobody knows
Every guide on the internet prints the rates it has. This is the list of rates that do not exist — the printings we refuse to estimate, with the reason attached. Our simulator excludes all of them.
- AD-01 Advanced Booster Digimon Generation — rate unknown — not simulated. Different product class (12 packs, ~$6.30) with no community box mapping.
- BT-21 Omnimon serialised /350 — rate unknown — not simulated. 1 of 350: print-run odds are not published and cannot be modelled. Display-only footnote.
- Box-topper promo pack — rate unknown — not simulated. Contents vary by box and have no community mapping.
- "Rare Pull" reprints beyond the SP bucket — rate unknown — not simulated. Tracked as a separate print class with no aggregate rate.
- Textured / Gold Border / Limited Foil / Judge & Event Pack printings — rate unknown — not simulated. Tournament and promo product, not booster contents.
- Common and Uncommon Alternative Arts — rate unknown — not simulated. Community data only maps Alternative Art at Rare and above.
- Presale sets — not simulated — a presale set has no snapshot-verified card pool yet, so it carries the standard presale class instead of odds.
Try the rates yourself
Every rate on this page is the rate our simulator rolls, because both read the same registry. Rip a simulated pack and watch the distribution do what the table says it will over a few hundred packs — it is the cheapest way to see how rarely a "1 in 288" actually lands.
We update this page whenever the registry changes, and a build gate fails loudly if the two ever disagree — so a rate here is never a stale copy of a rate we corrected somewhere else.
Common questions
Are these official Digimon pull rates?
No. Bandai publishes pack contents but no per-rarity odds for the Digimon Card Game. Everything below is a community estimate or derived from one, labelled row by row.
How many Super Rares are in a Digimon booster box?
On the estimated rates, a 24-pack box averages 6.48 Super Rares. It is an average computed from a community estimate, not a box guarantee.
What is the Ultimate Rare pull rate?
Provisional. The community sample behind it is thin and set-dependent, so we mark it provisional wherever it appears rather than presenting it as settled.
How many cards are in a Digimon booster pack?
12 cards, 24 packs to a box, 12 boxes to a case.
Do box toppers count toward the odds?
No. Every English booster box ships a box-topper promo pack and its contents are not simulated, so nothing on this page includes it.
