The release day
Curator's Collection: Heroines went on sale Friday, July 17, 2026 at select Disney locations, including Disney's Pin Traders at Downtown Disney next to Disneyland. The box is $99.99 and contains six full-art foiled glimmers. It is not sold through normal trading-card retail.
The release itself became the story. Lines ran up to four blocks at some locations, and at least one store closed for the day and postponed its release rather than manage the crowd, as reported by LaughingPlace and as reported by CrowdLevels. If you did not queue early, you almost certainly did not get one at retail.

The main chase and why
Ariel — Spectacular Singer is the chase. It carries the highest market price of the six at $161.66, with a lowest ask of $149.99 — a clear step above Tinker Bell in second at $115.00, and roughly double the two Frozen sisters at the bottom of the table.
Three things stack up behind it. Ariel is the single most collected Disney character in Lorcana, with a demand base far wider than the competitive player pool. The Spectacular Singer treatment is the one people already know from The First Chapter, so the glimmer reads as an upgrade of a card collectors have chased before. And the print run is capped by a physical constraint: a box you could only buy in person, at a handful of Disney locations, on one day. Character pull, familiar art, and hard scarcity is the combination that usually decides a chase.
One honest note against it: Ariel is also the most volatile of the six, down 24.2% in our last 24-hour comparison. That is what an early, thin market does. It is not a trend yet.

A rough sanity check while you compare: sealed boxes and singles behave differently. A sealed box is one lot with scarcity intact; six loose glimmers get judged card by card, and the two Frozen sisters at the bottom of our table are the ones that soften first.
Should you pay the aftermarket premium
Against $99.99 MSRP, the singles currently ask about six times the box price. That maths only helps you if you can buy at retail, which almost nobody can now.
If you want one card, buy that card. Ariel at $150 is a clean, priced decision. If you want the set, the honest read is to wait. Twelve days of data is not a market — it is a queue clearing. Parks exclusives typically settle in the two to eight weeks after release once the first wave of flippers has listed, and our history on these six is too short to tell you where the floor is.
