    How EV is computed.For each slot in the pack (6 commons, 3 uncommons, 2 rare-or-better with weights rare 79% / super-rare 14.4% / legendary 6.6%, 1 foil with weights common 37.9% / uncommon 25.4% / rare 16.9% / super-rare 9% / legendary 4.5% / epic 5% / enchanted 1.2% / iconic 0.08%) we take the meancurrent TCGplayer market price across every card in that set/rarity, then sum. Box EV = pack EV × 24. Cards under $0.05 are treated as unpriced and excluded so a single sentinel value can't skew an average. EV is a statistical expectation with high variance, not a guarantee — the median pack is well below the mean, and most boxes will return less than EV with a few outliers carrying the average. Sealed prices fluctuate; paste what you actually see.
