The short version: October 2, 2026. Co-operative, playable solo or with one friend, and the contents list is published in full — unusually, the price is not. It is the first Illumineer’s Quest tied directly to the Attack of the Vine! storyline.

The story, and how it plays
The premise from the product page: a Piglet glimmer has been “pignapped by some prickly tendrils”, and the quest does not end with the rescue — you go deeper into the roots to find the source of the problem. Mechanically, the inside of the Vine is a set of rooms holding trapped glimmers; you gain enough lore to free the ensnared friend, then move on to the next obstacle. The two prebuilt player decks are designed to work solo or two-handed with a friend.
Your team: the five revealed glimmers
| Glimmer | Version | What Ravensburger says it does |
|---|---|---|
| Winnie the Pooh | Hunny Archmage | Rewards a team of other Hunny characters with extra lore. |
| Tigger | Hunny Barbarian | Battles Vinelings and helps keep threats at a distance. |
| Kanga | Hunny Bard | A calming song effect in thorny situations. |
| Violet Parr | Super Resilient | Take less damage from attacks while searching your deck for cards you need. |
| Boo | Energetic Child | Gets rid of certain Vinelings despite low strength. |
These are Ravensburger’s own descriptions of the cards’ roles, not full rules text — the exact wording is not published yet, so we are not paraphrasing it into something that looks like a rules quote.
What you are fighting: the encounter cards
- Pete — Made by the Vine. Forces a character back to your hand when he arrives; wants to be challenged.
- Vine Sprout — Buzzer. Hard to pin down; an Evasive character can banish it.
- Cruella De Vil — Made by the Vine. A naturalistic redesign, as vicious as ever.
- Bramble Bully — Protecting the Stalk. Can root out many of your characters at once when it enters play.
Four of the six encounter cards have been shown. The other two have not.
Should you buy it?
Two honest observations, no forecast. First, Illumineer’s Quest boxes historically sell as products people play, not products people speculate on — the value case rests on the two prebuilt decks and the scenario, not on chase pulls. Second, with no MSRP published, any “preorder is a deal” framing you see right now is comparing a listing to nothing. When the box enters our price history, it will appear in the Lorcana market page with a dated snapshot like everything else.

How we keep this page current
The box is unreleased, so this page is forward-looking. We re-read it whenever Ravensburger publishes a price, a card list, or the remaining encounter cards, and at minimum on release day, October 2, 2026.
Every product name, date and contents list on this page is taken from Ravensburger’s own Disney Lorcana pages: the official Illumineer’s Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue product page. Where Ravensburger has not published something — a price, a card count, a card list — this page says so rather than estimating it. Any sealed price shown elsewhere on InkSight comes from our daily snapshot and carries its own date.
