A double-digit median decline sounds alarming until you remember what the first week of a set actually is. Listings are thin, sellers price on hope, and a handful of optimistic asks set the record for everybody. By week three the box-opening wave has passed, cards are in binders, and the prices are being set by people who own the cards rather than people guessing about them. A median of −13.9% across 41 measured cards is the normal shape of that landing.
What matters is the distribution underneath it. Eight cards went the other way, several by double digits, and the chase tiers behaved nothing like the commons. So rather than one number, here is the whole set, sorted by what actually happened.
Winners: the five biggest risersInkSight · Disney Lorcana · as of August 15, 2026
Every card below cleared the same bar: at least three snapshot days in both windows, verified or moderate confidence, and at least $2.00 on both ends so bulk noise cannot manufacture a headline percentage.
| Card | Rarity | Jul 24–Jul 30 | Aug 9–Aug 15 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Winnie the Pooh & Piglet — Hunny Mages (Enchanted) | Enchanted | $667.31 | $916.11 | +37.3% |
| Mushu — Stealthy Dragon | Legendary | $7.72 | $8.97 | +16.2% |
| Tod & Copper — Best of Friends (Enchanted) | Enchanted | $146.25 | $158.02 | +8.0% |
| Sulley & Boo — Scare Buddies (Enchanted) | Enchanted | $284.69 | $303.69 | +6.7% |
| Heihei — Created by the Vine (Epic) | Epic | $2.69 | $2.86 | +6.3% |
Winnie the Pooh & Piglet — Hunny Mages (Enchanted) is the story of the set: $667.31 in release week against $916.11 now, +37.3%, and it did it on 7 snapshot days in the current window rather than one spike. Below it the gains get modest fast — the 5th-best riser in the entire set is only +6.3%. A set with one strong riser and a thin tail behind it is a set where demand is concentrated, not broad.
Losers: the five biggest declinesInkSight · Disney Lorcana · as of August 15, 2026
The same bar, the same windows, the other end of the table. Note how many of these are mid-price cards rather than chase cards: the steepest declines in a young set are usually the $4–$8 rares that release-week speculation over-bid.
| Card | Rarity | Jul 24–Jul 30 | Aug 9–Aug 15 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Woody & Buzz Lightyear — Best Buddies | Legendary | $5.60 | $2.65 | −52.7% |
| Sulley — The New Boss | Super Rare | $4.63 | $2.65 | −42.8% |
| Lilo & Stitch — Fun-Loving Friends | Super Rare | $3.63 | $2.22 | −38.8% |
| Rapunzel & Flynn Rider — Unlikely Pair (Enchanted) | Enchanted | $299.55 | $184.22 | −38.5% |
| Christopher Robin — Hunny Sage | Legendary | $4.01 | $2.89 | −27.9% |
The steepest faller, Woody & Buzz Lightyear — Best Buddies, is −52.7% — from $5.60 to $2.65. At that price level a decline like this rarely means the card is bad; it means release-week asks were being set against almost no supply, and supply arrived. The one genuinely expensive card in this list, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider — Unlikely Pair (Enchanted), is the exception worth watching, because thin high-value markets move on very few sales in either direction.
Chase check: where the top of the set landedInkSight · Disney Lorcana · as of August 15, 2026
Chase rarities are the cards people buy the set for, and they are also the thinnest markets in it. Here is the median of each chase tier in release week against the median now — measured across every printing in the tier, so one outlier cannot carry the number.
- Iconic — median $2,386.67 → $1,935.11 −18.9%, 0 of 2 printings higher than release week.
- Enchanted — median $162.85 → $153.41 −5.8%, 4 of 18 printings higher than release week.
Both chase medians are down, and we are not going to dress that up: the top of Attack of the Vine! is cheaper today than it was in release week. The Iconic tier gave back −18.9% against its opening median, and the Enchanted tier −5.8% — with 4 of its 18 printings bucking that. These are also the cards where a single sale moves the print, so treat every figure in this section as the centre of a range rather than a quote.
Sealed math: what a box is actually worthInkSight · Disney Lorcana · as of August 15, 2026
A booster box of Attack of the Vine! holds 24 packs. Pricing every slot in a pack against the current median value of each rarity in this set gives an expected singles value of $6.31 per pack, or $151.36 per box. The cheapest box listed on TCGplayer as of August 15, 2026 asks $198.00, against a Market price of $205.44.
The verdict, plainly: at $198.00 a box, you are paying +30.8% over the $151.36 of singles the average box contains. Singles are the better buy at current prices. That is not a green light or a red one — it is arithmetic, and it flips the moment either side moves. Boxes are still the only way to open the cards yourself, and that is worth something this model cannot price.

EV basis: Ravensburger does not publish per-slot pull rates. Weights mirror the Pack Lab simulator on /packs.html, modelled from community box-break aggregates. Slot values: 6 x Common $0.57 · 3 x Uncommon $0.45 · 2 x Rare-or-better $0.88 · 1 x Foil slot $4.41. EV counts singles value only — it ignores shipping, fees, the time cost of selling, and the value of opening the packs.
Since release: the median price pathInkSight · Disney Lorcana · as of August 15, 2026
The winners and losers above compare two windows. This chart is the whole recorded path in between: the median ask-first price of every confidence-gated Attack of the Vine! card on each day since release, split by rarity tier, from the same stored snapshots. Days with fewer than 20 eligible cards are left out rather than smoothed, and there is no projection past the last recorded day.

What these numbers are. Every figure on this page is a trailing seven-day median of InkSight’s own stored daily TCGplayer snapshots — the price a copy was listed or marked at on the day we recorded it. These are asks and Market prices, not confirmed sales data, and no third party’s sold-listing feed is used anywhere in this article.
Windows. Release week is Jul 24–Jul 30, 2026. The current window is Aug 9–Aug 15, 2026. A card needs at least three snapshot days inside both windows to appear; cards we did not begin tracking until after release are omitted rather than back-filled. We also hold 35 snapshot days for this set from before release (first recorded Jun 19), and every one of them is excluded: pre-release rows are presale and preorder asks with no market behind them, so the baseline here starts on release day itself, Jul 24, and never earlier.
Filtering. Only cards flagged verified or moderate confidence by our snapshot classifier are eligible, and both ends must be at or above $2.00. That leaves 41 eligible cards out of 251 printings we track for the set. Medians in the chase section are computed over every paired printing in the tier, including ones below the $2.00 floor.
Sealed EV. Modelled from the same slot plan and rarity weights as the InkSight Pack Lab simulator, priced against current medians. Publishers do not publish per-slot pull rates; the weights are estimates and are labelled as such wherever they appear.
What we do not do. No forecasts, no target prices, no buy or sell advice. Where a market is too thin for a number to mean much, we say so instead of quoting it with false precision.
